  • @negritaqueen Hi, The best advice I can give is start reading up on the internet about the raw diet at Shirley's Wellness Cafe. You will have to find what works for you and your dogs. If you read through some of my earlier post here you can get an idea of what we feed. We don't have small children so I'm not sure about that particular issue. There is a lot if info out there so don't let it overwhelm you. Keep it simple for yourself and your dogs.

Hello! I also have two corsos, Maximus Cane and Geisha. Im very interested in putting them on a raw food diet. What should I start with? How sanitary is it?lol I have children and i dont want the dogs licking them with SALMONELLA MOUTH!

  • My Corso pup turned 8 months on 7/8/10 and weighs 105 lbs, he is very active and eats 6 lbs of meat/bone/veg a day plus some supplements, he'd eat more if i gave it to him.

  • raw egg with the shell LOL are you trying to kill my dog 1st from the video I dont see you feeding you cane corso puppies these items raw food give your dogs worms

  • I'm sorry, but what part of all the info I have given so far don't you understand???????? Get a small kitchen scale and do the math. Weigh out 1 3/4 pounds of chicken (I personally think leg quarters would be best and not just the legs) and a raw egg with the shell also and throw in a couple ounces of veggies and serve in a bowl.

  • 5% of her body weight per day so how many chicken legs is that per day

  • If you fed her 5% of her body weight per day with her being 40lbs then that would be 2 lbs of raw meat and bone plus a little bit of raw fruit or veggies to go along with the meat & bone to total 2 lbs. Dogs need a lot more meat, bone & organ meat than they do fruits and veggies. Get a small kitchen scale and weigh things. That"s how I started out doing it. It's your call as to just how much you feed her. If she isn't gaining weight like you think she should then increase her food intake.
