Tavis is a big boy, he'll get over it..but I think he's wrong in suggesting that "race pride" is what propelled Obama...at this point anything Tavis says for this current political landscape will likely be seen as skewed..yes he's done incredible things but that ego (EGO is Edging God Out)...Tavis needs to learn the Negro National Pray- Dear Lord when I've said enough, please help me keep my big mouth shut

Who cares what Tavis says? Let's make our own decisions. He has he right to his OPINION. Everyone does. Just because he decided not to come doesn't mean anything to me. Tavis is pissed because its all about the ratings. If he would be neutral then be neutral. Barack Obama doesn't owe Tavis Smiley anything, Tavis Smiley doesn't owe Barack Obama anything. I just don't care.

No, that wasn't the reason. There was no need to go on a known radio station and blast on Barack. Hilary came in the attempt to gain more african american votes. She was the only canditate that did attend. He went the extra mile in what you call holding Barack accountable. I believe the small statement that Geraldo said which was he can run for President himself is clouding his vision or lack there of. Jealous rears it's ugly face. TAVIS SMILEY IS NOT THE VOICE OF BLACK AMERICA.
