These Bilbo dawgs are renowned for their huge terds!

I saw this dog in action on Sennen beach during me summer hols. He rescued a cuttlefish! Unfortunately, despite the lifeguards' efforts to revive the poor creature by placing it back in the sea - it died. Still, it shows Bilbo is a natural.

Um, AntiNoisyBastards, Bilbo is a Newfoundland dog, a well recognised and documented breed. They come in Black, Black with white, White with black markings and BROWN!
I keep noofs and do a lot of water rescue training with them and we have all of the above colours. You even see them in gray occasionally.

He's a fine dog, but for information, bilbos' are not a recognised breed, the dog in the video is probably a St Bernard/poodle cross. And thinking about it - the St Bernard would have to be the dad. The best dogs for water rescue are actually Newfoundlands because they have webbed feet and are very powerful swimmers.
Heard he's been sacked - that's a f***g disgrace. It's not like they're paying him or anything, and Newfies are very reliable and tougher than any human lifeguard. So what if he can't do CPR - he doesn't patrol the beach by himself!

OK very nice - but what does the dog actually do? Swam towards "drowning" man, got to within a few feet and then swam away. Sorry, don't get it!

He's trying to manoevre the float he drags behind him to the "drowning" man - it would be more clear if I had kept videoing a bit longer!
