To celebrate the closing of a truly great institution, Videosyncratic, the cream of Oxford talent bunched together to play out the final night. Here's The Candyskins (stripped down to just Nick and Mark) playing Mrs Hoover... Awesome times
Wouldn't go as far as saying they were under-appreciated as i'm only familiar with a handful of Candyskins tracks but Mrs Hoover (album version or this live performance) has always been one of my *many* standout favourites from that whole 90's Britpop/Indie scene.
I would never have recognised him in a million years! Loved Candyskins, remember seeing them at The Princess Charlotte and getting an interview with them. Such down to earth, lovely blokes :D
that was great!

Such a great song from an amazing album, there's no justice is a world where no-one rembers The Candyskins, yet Oasis were superstars.
