Mao is still a lovely skater. Her spirals and spins are perfect. When she does her footwork, you can see the old genius.

However, the music is awful. Mao is such a lovely, bubbly, sweet girl. This music is the type of thing Anissina and Peizerat could have pulled off, but it just isn't right for a young girl.

And people - could we stop it with the nasty comments? I love Yu-Na Kim, but I don't feel the need to come here and bash another lovely young girl who is trying so hard to do her best!

見れば見るほどこのプログラムが好きになっていきます。

こちら側が見てて苦しくなってくるもの真央ちゃんの表現力の力な­んでしょう

「怒り」や「苦しみ」をよく表現できていると思います。

確かに重いでしょうが、こういう曲調を表現するのってなかなか難­しいものです

繋ぎの演技もよくできてると思うのですが。

もっと評価されるべきでは

@jamarsano the music isn't awful - it is sublime, powerful and eternal. and strangely it fits with the power and artistry of her skating. this music and this performance ranks as one of the highlightd of these olympics, the music being overshadowed only by the power of kd lang's oerformance, and the fact she didn't win gold.
