@redman840 I agree mate, there's just so much of it.

@tadjcmartin ...Okay,not trying to be a smartie..He has done a lot of cuts, with a lot of choices to choose from.My favorite is Follow your Heart.Perhaps if you saw this live, you might form a different opinion.I am also a fan of George Benson,Larry Coryell, and a new up and coming guitarist,Paul Brown.Jazz of all styles,is ageless.Take thetime and explore that world,it has endless avenues of style.

@redman840 The thing with Jazz Fusion though is it's like marmite you either love it or you hate it. Except for me, I think both are alright.

Unless I am mistaken (it was some time ago) I was at this gig in Monteux 4th July 1993, John McLaughlin and the Free Sprits. Also on the bill that night was Dee Dee Bridgwater and Carlos Santana. McLaughlin and Santana came on again towards the end of the gig for a jam. Needless to say it was one hell of an experience for a 26 year old busker Hitchhiking around Europe that summer.

McLaughlin is by far my favorite guitarist. I also greatly admire Pat Martino. Both of these men are superb.
