As we all know, the operative function in addiction, and any "recovery" thereof, is the addict and/or alcoholic's INTENT...
Total abstinence for most addict/alcoholics is an unacceptable choice...
"Treatment", whatever it is, doesn't work in general...

I found out that the people in AA believe that I went back out just because I stopped AA. I have a plan to quit for ever.

I haven't heard any one mention that the 5% is only for people who get 1 year or more. People who have a life and death addictions are treating themselves with this program AA that does not work. I guess that's why they are so irrational.
