  • Wow. Nice. . . . Can I get ur opinion on a guitar? I've ordered an Ibanez PM35 Pat Metheny model. Any opinion or comments on selecting a good jazz guitar? The PM35 is around $800 so . . . Any comments would be appreciated.

  • @joelg125 I've only tried one once years ago so can't really remember any pro's or con's based upon my personal preferences. However, I can say that a number of my students have played instruments by the company over the years and I can say they were high quality guitars. Just look at the number of pro's who use Ibanez axes.

  • so the passing tone scale, is it from the Eb7 bop scale?

or maybe Bb mel. minor with a passing tone.

  • Yes ,what Barry Harris calls The"seventh" scale meaning d natural between the e flat and the d flat.
