Solved a lot of problems I had when I started. Really hate that music! Reminds me of being put on hold in an indifferent universe.

The video is great, but the music is too loud and interferes with being able to hear what she's saying. Remixing the audio and lowering the instrumental track would be a marked improvement.

Wow you made everything so clear. I plan to take a class and now I will do much better knowing this info ahead of time. THANKS!

This is the best video I've seen to explain direct warping and basic RH weaving techniques. No excess chatter or explanation, very clear views of the process, and excellent explanation of each step. I appreciated the concise hints about making an even selvedge, warp tension, and passing the shuttle through the shed close to the reed. Thank you! I wish I had found this video sooner.

Thank you so much for so clearly demonstrating the RH loom! Tried RH weaving many years ago before you-tube but couldn't get the hang of it... just received a 12" Knitters Loom for Christmas and am looking forward to getting started!!!

@snowcatjoy Hi, it should be exactly the same process - it should not matter how old your loom is. If you wanted to double check email a photo attn: Kate to sales "at" ashford.co.nz and I will advise if any different. Thanks.

Hi - I've subscribed, this is fab! I am a *total* beginner, I can see how one would be able to do stripes and checks, but please can you explain how one might approach something a little more complicated like a houndstooth pattern on this type of loom, if it is even at all possible?
thanks again!

@loveleopardprint HI, to do your standard hounds tooth (in black and white for explanation purposes) warp as normal but do one slot black then one slot white continue across the width of your warp. When you are weaving you will need two shuttles - one white one black. Weave two rows black followed by two rows white. Repeat to end - note always wind the shuttle in use around the other colour at the end of rows. Happy weaving!!

Wonderful tutorial, the best I've seen on youtube to date. Thank you so much for posting this. I'll be sharing it with my rigid heddle weaving group on facebook.
