LIMO (Excerpts)

Created for the Whitney Museum of Art's Performance on 42nd Street Series, performed in the Lobby of the Altria Gallery, 2004. Co-created by Lisa We consider this a work in progress because we only got one shot.

An office temp worker has an existential breakdown during happy hour at Houlihans. During her drunken depression, she becomes obsessed with 5 random nouns - a fire hydrant, a geo metro hatchback, a glass of water, a banana and a whale. As she obsesses, meaning seems to detach from each object and they float towards "pure form". Can she ever escape her office cubicle into such freedom?
