Its a great idea! But I think the reason why we don't see half car half plane flying all above us is because it is simply not practical! If operating one needs human input then I don;t expect a house wife would have the nerves to fly one of these things. That means I would have to heir a pilot to fly me wife to the supermarket then I might as well just buy her a helicopter instead?
