Mitt needs to become more personable like Rick - who talks proudly about his family - his dad & grand-dad.

i dont think they realize Mitt completely must avoid that as his ancestors believed blacks were sub-humans, were strong believers in polygamy & his dad was an illegal immigrant.

@AzFlipMan -- Ronald Reagan's Irish ancestors didnt come through Ellis Island

The Irish people at the time were of a much lower-class than the Mexicans coming into the USA nowaday - dirty & diseased with many of the men drunkards & many of the women willing to work as whores for money

The cities had their welfare rolls swell so high they protested until Irish Immigation was severly restricted at Ellis

So Ron's ancestors came into Canada & snuck over as illegal immigrants to the US

@DillonDee1 No but I recall a similar claim that our president wasn't born in the US. However as much as I want that to be true it was never proven.  I don't question Obama's legal status however I question his Amnesty and why he doesn't enforce the law. Why is it that when US Citizens go to the airport our kids get stripped searched while grandma gets patted down. But at the unprotected border 1 of every 4 illegal immigrants get through the US without even being inspected?

not sure if they were legal or not I may be wrong but when their ancestors came over to the United States to Ellis Island those immigrants were processed by New York State officials to basically make them legal. Similar event happened in Florida when people fled Cuba (big mistake on our part) however you wont see that happen today because after 9/11 the US doesn't want foreign terrorists in this country. which is why I think they need to enforce the border just as much as they do at the airport.

@08808111 the people who get paid 16 dollars an hour would be pissed that their US Tax Dollars goes to the people who get paid 5 dollars an hour who don't pay a thing to society. Yet their taking advantage of the healthcare system, their using food-stamps, nutritional assistance programs, have relatives in prison, or in prison themselves. those illegal immigrants to me are selfish. this is the land of the free but that doesn't mean it isn't free you got to earn it LEGALLY!

@DillonDee1 Look up the term 'legal' immigration. You will realize how even if you were to kick out George, still wouldn't prevent Mitt Romney from becoming a legal immigrant. And since he was born in the US would not exclude him for meeting the requirements to be a presidential candidate.

First of all your wrong about that, Do your math illigal immigrants work for low wage while regular americans want more money to do less work if you have a farm who would you want to hire someone who wants to be paid $16.00 an hour or someone who will work for $5.00 an hour without complaining. by the way if you do choose the $16.00 dollar person know the food will be expensive as hell
