7/7 Dr SMS, after my phone call in Russian to you and Captain Dr. Faiz Khaleed on 4/7/07 RTM/TV2 Hello-On-2, on 11/11/07 my sisters and I visited Major Dr Faiz and parents after he was slashed by a robber while rescuing a friend and then drove to the hospital with his bleeding hand. You had your chance, so Major Dr Faiz Khaleed should also go to Space, Insha-Allah. Assalamualaykum, Allah-u-Akbar. Writer Ms. Zariani Abdul Rahman, Al-Ahad Enterprise, 20-26/4/08

6/7 I gave points 4.7 and 5.7 on 20/10/07 and Point 5.7 was confirmed in NST 22/4/08 p. 6 "2nd space trip runs into funds snag": "...zero money...1st phase was facilitated by the fact that 70 % of the cost of training and sending the 1st angkasawan to space was offset by the purchase of the Sukhoi fighter jets..." RM5 donation is cost of a bus ticket but if you are very poor, a vendor walking in the hot sun or suddenly stranded without cash or credit cards even RM5 is a small fortune - Zariani

5/7 Dr SMS, with "RM5-RM10.50 sen donation", no taxpayers will complain as some of them did, regarding your 1st Space mission's "hidden cost", normal in any commercial transaction of - "Buy 2 Get 1 Free!" Presumably, the cost price of RM35 million, 1/3 of the marked-up RM105 million-tag was already included in the Russian jet-fighters sale price, but disguised as a freebie/offset deal). As a Cosmonaut-businessman etc. etc., surely you know this - Writer Ms. Zariani Abdul Rahman

4/7 Major Dr. Faiz Khaleed's 2nd Space mission in 2010/2011 will cost RM105 million. Out of a 27 million population, if 21 million people donate RM5 each we can collect RM105 million or if 10 million people donate RM10.50 sen each we can collect RM105 million overnight. Unless one is very poor, RM5 or RM10 donation is only the price of a daily bus ticket. About 1/4 of the adult population are against the Space program, while 3/4s are enthusiastic -- Writer Ms. Zariani Abdul Rahman

3/7 Sunday Star 20/4/2008 p. N12 said: "Dr. Faiz was commenting on the cost analysis on the Angkasawan programme which could be carried out to see if the project should continue... Angkasawan project can help create research industry"; Star 23/4/08 p. N10 "Training for Faiz continues" said: "If financial problems...other options..." and on p. N23 "Faiz: Continue mission" Dr. Faiz said: "...ministries can share in the funding." --Zariani

2/7 Dr SMS, after listening to your speech and press conference at UNITAR on 12/4/2008 I visited MISA on 13/4/2008 and saw 2 busloads of enthusiastic schoolchildren. MISA's 4D Space Launch theatre and blast zone could be added permanently to Planetarium complex for visitors to experience for a RM10 or RM5 entrance fee and a simple paper on Space could be included in the school Science syllabus at no extra cost -- Writer Ms. Zariani Abdul Rahman, Al-Ahad Enterprise

1/7 Dr SMS, I disagree with your latest interview (NST 20/4/08 p.10 "Delay the lift-off says angkasawan [cosmonaut]": "...the young ones...their general knowledge on space is lacking...to use the cost of funding the [2nd] mission to educate...If we do not have the proper awareness, it would be no point sending another Malaysian to space...consider the decision to send the 2nd angkasawan carefully as it would involve a large sum of the people's money." -- Zariani
