Legalize it. Only on these conditions....
1. STOP smoking this stuff! Smoking anything is bad for you...period.
2. Just eat the damn thing...I hear the effects last longer.
3. Only to be used over the age of 19.
4. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery under the influence.
5. Only to be sold through approved vendors, so it can be taxed (sorry no growing your own in your backyard)

It is really great to see when the media takes initiative in feeding their audience the truths of life such as this one. To date, Marijuana has been noted the most safest substance being consumed at the rate it is by Americans, that is on the Schedule 1 controlled substance Drug Policies. In fact, Marijuana in some cases is more necessary than most pharmaceuticals produced today. Typically the media doesn't tread on such bumpy subjects as this one so viewers remain less liberal, but what the hay

I'm a heavy cigarette smoker.. I would quit tomorrow if weed was legalized tomorrow. Think of the businesses that would go under as a result of marijuana legalization. I don't really mind it, I don't really care.. I think corporate america is all about the survival of the fittest and it seems recently American government has been trying too hard to keep things they way theyve always been. This isn't the "Change" I voted for.

On FOX? Wow. But the guy on Fox News is still an idiot for being against regulating it at the state level. "OH, LETS GIVE IT TO CHILDREN OF ALL AGES! BUT YOU CAN'T DRIVE WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF IT!". Marijuana does need to be legalized but it also needs to be regulated at the state level to keep it out of the hands of children. Marijuana has virtually no ill-effects for adults, but it does have negative effects for non-adults (under the age of 21).

It's good to see that the media is taking this issue more seriously and not giggling like idiots, like they used too, 20,000 deaths in a few years, only legalization will stop the killing or it will just get worse!
