That was not sparring, that was steamrolling. There's a reason why these guys are sparring partners. They are not championship fighters yet, or ever will be. I always thought it foolish to blowout sparring partners or to get in flat out gym wars. There's intensity and there's stupidity. Other all time greats did not knockout their sparring partners. Shavers did not do it and he was powerful. Guys do get roughed up, it's boxing! But you're supposed to work on weaknesses and reinforce technique.
