  • We actually have a paint booth in our giant corporation, so it was totally free. Thanks for the props on the paint job though. Their are awards? Wow didn't know but we'd happily donate the massive amount of prize money to a charity of our choice. Thanks for the safety award. Do we get a trophy? We'd really like one for our fancy corporate office. I'd look good with our suits and ties. Could we also get a trophy for the towing support, food and bike parking we provided FREE of charge to everyone!

  • Yes, we do work for a "corporation" and we're quite proud of the culture and history Yakima has. We bring a lot of energy and passion to this community and we're proud to put our name behind it. Our car has a very high value as you mentioned. We did this not by paying for this stuff but by asking our friends that work at these companies for their support. We had fun racing and partying with everyone. Winning has nothing to do with it. Style and fun are will always rule this event. Cheers.

  • Nice Work!!

  • Maybe you guys are unaware that there are gravity races for corporate sponsored cars. Go find one of them. I thought Yakima was a cool company but what you are doing is similar to being the rich kid on the playground with a bunch of real punks.

  • Bring your "corporation" down south for some

gravity racing against our fast cars!

  • Wow...looks like your paint job exceeds the $300 limit rule. If winning has nothing to do with it, you should forfeit any awards you recieved to a team that actually followed the rules. I'd nominate you for a "Safety Award" for the fancy disc brakes and exotic materials but I think i'll sell my new Yakima racks and go with used Thule or Rocky Mounts racks from craigslist. Congrats to the winners who obviously spent less than $150 on their car.

  • AYHSMB!!!!!

  • derbypolice is right on, hope these corporate type cars stay out of the race and keep it real in the spirit and history of the event. Funny thing was this car got smoked too by my friends who followed the rules of the event and had a car with some real character. Kind of like the rich weekend warrior who shows up with the best equipment and then gets owned by the poor kids with balls and heart.

  • We are supposed to believe that this car cost under $300?

Nice try. You got shown how it is done by a team that actually followed the rules in the spirit of the event. We are not impressed. Congrats team K.I.S.S.

  • Extremely sweet!!!!!
