Character Animation Test - Maria Bamford Soundclip

A short character animation made to test a simple rig made in Autodesk Maya 2009. Rendered with Maya software renderer using the built-in "toon" shader. Textured with Flash and Photoshop.

Basically an experiment to see how a Jhonen Vasquez-like character with a mouth animated with "replacement" mouth animation would look animated in cel-shaded 3D.

The sound-clip is from Maria Bamford's performance on the compilation album 'Comedy Death Ray', which, by the way, kicks a great deal of ass.
