  • Transfer speeds always depends on the pipe to fiber backbone and how much it is throttled per user. This varies between providers, LTE 20x20 is the fastest wireless you can get right now through a wireless carrier. Verizon, Sprint , Clearwire are nationwide and offer good speeds and is great alternative to cable especially if you are mobile internet user.

  • no offence, but lol 5 mbs download and 1.5 mb upload, is highspeed was that a joke? :)

  • I owned a xohm. I cut the service off being right out side the green zone. When I finally got around to getting deeper into the green zone the company couldnt turn my device back on. Its a paper wieght now. Luckily my neighbors have a pretty dam good wifi that I can pick up. I thank whomever they are.

  • clearrrrrrrr

  • I'm using XOHM right now, had it for the last few months. It's fantastic, the bandwidth is great, just did a speed test and got 6186kb/s down and 2747kb/s up. I even get low enough pings for gaming (like consistently less than 50). It's really unbelievable for a wireless service. I used to have EVDO a 3G wireless service but this blows it away by a mile. Faster than cable modems I have had in the past even.

  • man 30$ a month... awesome.... if i had this in my country i would definitely get it for even double of that value...

  • The future for cable and copper is pretty bleak. If the speeds double over the next few years, it can give FTTX a run for its money!!
