My practical advice for Dell victims: file a Better Business Bureau complaint on-line, make it official. Second urge computer retailers like Staples and Best Buy not to sell their products. Finally, complain at your state's Attorney General's office, In the state of MASS, the number is 617-727-8400. They will send you a form; fill it out. If you want to stop Dell you have to do the job of being your own consumer advocate. I have done all three of these things. Now, it's your turn.

Yeah, it's a shame. Dell used to be one of the best before they outsourced and went "ANTI AMERICAN". Every time you need customer support, they send your call over to INDIA and you can't even understand the person you're talking to which means you never get your problem fixed. Boycott Dell. I hope Michael Dell's company Plummets and he goes broke. This country is being ruined by greedy CEO's like him. He should move over to India since he loves them so much.

About a yr ago I bought a dell Studio 1737 Laptop loaded with Vista Home Prem 32 bit
As I had nothing but problems with Vista I purchased the only Windows 7 that would ungrade from the Vista on my computer(which is 32 bit)
On loading 32 Windows 7, I have major problems .
Dell Service (what a laugh) tell me they do not have the 32 bit drivers and just told me that they could not help me get my computer working properly.
NO NOT BUY DELL .. they dont care about after sales service.

I bought an extended service contract for my Dell computer. I can prove that Dell was paid from my debit account. When I call them for tech support they tell me there is no record of my purchase. I will never own another Dell computer.
