Waste of paper and ink

Today, my printer was printing some random papers for no reason, and I didn't even press "Print" on any of my computers. And even when I press "Cancel Print" it starts printing again. If I wasn't there, then I would have wasted lots of paper and ink. But the good news is that the printer completely stopped printing by the end of this video.

Did the power go out before it started this? My printer does this after a power outage. It gives me a sheet of paper to put in the copier so I can test the copying feature. :P

Yes. And the printers in the 1990s and before acted even worse. From the time I started taking computer classes in 1995, until I got Windows ME in 2001 (along with a new printer), they even printed hundreds of pages of gibberish for no reason whenever something was wrong with it! I first got a printer at home at around 1997.

Nice vid! Been there, done that, suffered with it and sweated bullets. Maybe printers just get rebellious every once in a while.
