Were do i buy the ICM Doble connectores? I wan to use the connectors on a ourside ground block. You sad when you striped the wire up push the bred s down i throught the bred had to stay around the sliver foil?

  • @2632jibaro I emailedyou a link!

  • rg-59 is garbage. dont buy it, dont use it. dont install your own fittings either let the cable company do it. they will most likely cut off your fittings and redo them anyway.

  • @spaz0819 RG59 is not for Cable TV. It is used for CCTV video or for Home Theater video connects. All those RCA cables you use to hook up your components (if you are not using HDMI) are made of RG59. Also, I would not always trust your cable company. Their goal is to always use the cheapest cables and connectors. Their margins are very slim so they will use the cheapest connectors and cables possible.

  • good video, couple of corrections from a veteran cable guy though. i wouldn't refer to rg-59 as 'for high definition' because the signal loss is higher than rg-6 so for all the do-it-yourselfers watching, spend the money on rg-6 or rg-6quad. also when he says you want at least 1/16 inch stinger past the end of the fitting... you really should have at MOST 1/16 inch protruding. if you leave it too long you can damage the f-81 that you screw onto.

  • @lonestardruid YOu are partially correct. The great thing about the PSA59/6 stripper is that is has a stopper built in that cuts and measurs the cables and the strip perfectly. The PSA/59/6 is the best coaxial cable stripper I have ever seen or used. .
