bit of a childish rant xmassy. most bands are happy just playing both venues, although admittedly there are a few that prefer reading (im looking at you bloc party, lol). as for atmosphere, ive been to both festivals and much prefer leeds, much friendlier and livelier personally. seem kol agree.

This was the best gig of my life. The whole day in fact, with Fall Out Boy, Florence & the Machine, Friendly Fires and Jamie T. And then KOL finished the weekend with the most amazing set :) beautiful

Atmosphere at Reading is the worst out of any festival I've been too, 14 years olds should be banned from festivals :P

im actually a reading festival boy, but i went friday 2010 and it was honestly the biggest waste of my money in my life. i should probably go and check out leeds :/

Bit childish calling Reading shit, everyone. Look over you tube there are hundreds of vids of thousands of people jumping in unison at reading, singing every word. One bad gig from a average band does not mean a whole festival is shit.

It's simple, Reading appreciated the other bands on that night more than Leeds e.g. Billy Talent. KOL got pissy due to a few idiots at the front and went and slagged us off to the northerners. Lethal Bizzle, Gallows and Frank Turner (if im not mistaken) all declared reading Reading the winner.

Also met some scottish folk in reading , who had come down, PAST LEEDS, to be in attendance at reading.

Add that to the fact that Readings the origional and bigger, and sorry Leeds, but you dont compare.

@ChrisGordon1993 Tell me about it.. I don't think I've listened to a single song of theirs since Reading. I've just lost all respect. Hearing him say, this is for the people who didnt come for just 2 songs, genuinely ridiculous. Up till that night I'd have KILLED to see them, got the chance, and basically said I wasn't a big enough fan :L Well fuck them
