  • Meanwhile, the power plant making the electricity for your room heaters...er...incandescent bulbs is spewing four times as much poisonous crap into the air that I have to breathe. Just to keep those inefficient 130 year old tech bulbs running.

I'm sure the EPA has a procedure just as ridiculous for cleaning up spilled motor oil, but that doesn't mean people should stop changing their car's oil.

  • @gotham61 Well, all things considered I would rather the so call "room heaters" stay in service until a more green technology came into use. The CFL solution leverages an excessively pollutive technology to attain minimal savings. CFLs contain phosphorous and mercury in the lighting element, they also contain trace elements of PCBs, lead, cadmium, zinc, arsenic, tin in the start circuits.Show me high intensity LED or something else that doesn't make my eyes hurt and I will be happy to switch.

  • @gotham61 BTW. Thanks for watching.

  • I hope you disposed of it properly. Where are your papers. Cradle to grave!!

  • Ahh there is my nightmare.
