@peak199 One more question. What DO you think the Patterson footage shows, and what evidence and reason creates your opinion (besides "it's a joke")? Although an undiscovered ape living amongst us does sound ridiculous at first thought, the evidence cannot be dismissed. Regular claims require regular evidence. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. We have extraordinary evidence, but you choose to dismiss every bit of it because "it's a joke".

@peak199 Which three videos? I'm not going to defend the Skunk Ape because I'm new to that field, but I'm most certainly not new to the Sasquatch field, especially regarding the Patty video. No offense taken - I appreciate that you've remained civil throughout this discussion. I apologize if I've been disrespectful to you. However, your argument of "the patterson-gimlin footage to me is a joke" is not logical. I give you loads of valid evidence and you dismiss it all with no reason or evidence.

I saw a full grown black bear standing up on two legs from 50 yards.He was looking the other way.They don't walk like that,they only stand to look around or threaten you.They don't swing their arms down by their side.I could have convinced myself I was looking at a skunkape.But I guess I have common sense!

@ninpo4life All I am saying is the three main videos here on youtube are posted by people that us down here know are liars,criminals,and nut jobs.The patterson-gimlin footage to me is a joke.(no offense).When I was young I wanted to believe,but I would bet everything I own,there is no bigfoot,skunk ape,yeti,lochness monster or santa clause.It's all nonsense for t.v and books!!!

@peak199 My mistake. I was thinking that you meant in the park. But still, you can't ignore the evidence. According to this video and the testimonies in it, it is definately NOT sighted only by "liars, drunks, and losers". If you go to the BFRO website which is bfro dot net, on the front page there's a big photo of Patty (the Sasquatch in the Patterson-Gimlin footage) and on that photo are the words "wasn't all this shown to be fake?". Click on that and I think you'll be turned into a believer.

@maggie2941 As for it being "photoshopped", that's the most hilarious attempt at debunking I've ever heard. Patterson and Gimlin had been in that area for weeks. They had found footprints, heard low-pitched howls, and knew a Sasquatch was near. They filmed it in 1967. No technology existed then to fake such a figure, much less photoshop one. There was no CGI, so even if it WAS photoshopped in, it still couldn't be a man in a costume because of the evidence in my other reply.

@maggie2941 I'm sure its not a fake because CNN hired professional costume designers from Hollywood, and they failed to duplicate a costume. As Patty walks, you can see the muscles moving in her enormous thigh, including a herniated one. There's no man on earth with thigh muscles as big as Patty's are. Her feet have no hair, just like any primate, she has breasts like a female primate, and hair on the buttocks because she walks upright so she doesn't scut around on it like other primates do.
