This was a coworker's third Pre in three months as the screen kept cracking. Once while charging and once in his front pocket. The bossman offered to get him an iphone if he killed his Pre. So, there ya go.

i have a palm pre, it has been dropped on my drive way, hard wood floor, out of my car, on my tile floor, down a flight of stairs..and stepped on my trampole. Oh it also got dropped in a puddle. and it still works. no cracked screen or anything. my battery door was completley scratched but i bought a new one and a zagg protector off of ebay. I love my palm pre...why would you kill it on purpose? iPhones are over rated. my brother had one..he got the evo.
