Virtual vs. Reality: GoProHD: Shelby GT500 with Vaughn Gittin Jr.

Wrecked Magazine decided to have a race with Formula Drift icon Vaughn Gittin Jr in the new 2010 Shelby GT500 at Willow Spring International Raceway in Middle-of-nowhere, California on the Horse Thief Mile circuit. The catch: He'll be racing against WM's Joey Redmond playing Need for Speed: Shift on a Playstation 3, driving the same car, on the same circuit. Using only GoPro HD cameras, I was able to cover everything that went down. This may not be Fantasy Factory status, but I hope you guys find it just as entertaining.

@nathsgames I don't believe it is. Only Need for Speed Shift. Perhaps the big track though, but my gut would still guess unlikely. It's a shame though. The big circuit is amazing fun and incredibly fast. Especially in an open wheel car.

@legomonster608 1 You're also probably a fat ass as well. It matter because people lack self respect and it shows they're lazy. 2 I don't have a Prius, I have a POS 92 BMW 325 that's way better to drive that this Mustang.

@rsx123 nah dude motor trend or road and track did a full on race with those 2 one with a pro driver and one with a regular guy (their editor) and the regular guy actually drove the Mustang faster around the track and the pro driver was only .4 seconds quicker in the M3. you should do some homework
