@LIP15 hi i see you are a mechanic wonder if you could help me . i need to connect two pipes to a cone filter connected directly to the throttle body but i need the 2 pipes one for air/fuel mixture and the other i don't know what it is seems to suck in air or something would a mechanic be able to help me out or would they tell me to go away because they can't be bothered lol??

Because of the design is pathetic. Thats not an argument thats you trying to sound right when you havnt got a clue. Reducing or impairing the engines ability of vacuuming [as the piston falls to BDC is creates a vacuum which pulls in intake air [unless its a turbo engine]
An airbox will NEVER be better. There is a reason why ALL performance cars have cone air filters, to aid engine breathing. They'er not wrong, im not wrong. YOU ARE WRONG. I'm a mechanic, you not, stop pretending

Do you know nothing? For a start, K&N are definatly the best air filter in the world, for carbs OR injection.
Now i'll tell you why, you no nothing wannabe mechanic.
Engine breathing. Allowing the engine to breathe better [intake air and exhaust gas] means power - simply because the engine isnt using enegery to take in and expell. Imagine walking against the wind. The airboxes are SHIT and designed to make it quiet - nothing else, they are not good [and your argument

@FighterNr01 It will with that silly K&N stuck on it. They do NOT filter the air because surface area is small and holes are big. They cause damage and noise. The standard air filter and housing makes the car *FASTER* due to the design. The oil also breaks MAF sensors, I paid £200 for a MAF sensor and put the K&N in the bin.
