  • Great recording! Albert Coates has been a favorite of mine for years...Never heard this later recording of the Rhine Journey. Thanks much.

    May I offer some additional info? The recording date was October 29, 1929. Recording venue was the Queen's Hall, London, per Christopher Dyment's excellent discography of Coates' studio recordings.
