@Dudinator123:wow surprising that youd say that cause thats exactly what I say and birth by sleep and dissidia are the only two games I bought from square thats new.

Actually scxcr, unless I'm suffering brain damage--certainly possible LOL--I think the fortune teller's purpose is actually to let you know if there are any villager spheres accessible with your current abilities that you've missed. So when she says "But they are beyond your reach," she's just saying, "You've got all of them so far." So she's not really useless...unless all the spheres are easy to find in the game. (Can't remember for sure.)

do you plan on doing more five dollar gaming?

Meh, the thing about this game (from the gameplay standpoint, not the acting/characters, 'cause people have written books on that) was that it was so... "BLAH". Functioning and polished, yet so slow, uninteresting and forgettable. Such a shame, because the intro could've given way to AT LEAST something flashy and fast.
These things almost distracted me from the soundtrack, which has some pretty awesome tunes in it.

On an unrelated note, dude one game you should review is Cyber Troopers Virtual on Marz. Virtual on was one of the greatest arcade games ever, and Marz was a crappy sequel you could probably pick up for a few bucks.

Ah, a square game. Is it just me or does square not even care about it's fanbase? At all? Mindjack, FF13 and 14, not to mention Lord of Arcana, are all recent crappy square games. The only games they did good recently was Dissidia duodecim (Mainly because it's a mega nostalgia bomb) and Birth by Sleep. And I was one of the people who actually didn't believe square sucked... Until I played Lord of Arcana for PSP.

House of the dead music? Me likey
lol the voice acting was abysmal I'll give you that but the gameplay was awesome. And I Remember you could duplicate attacks w/o taking damage. There's a parry system. It's been quite a few years though so I'm not 100% sure how it works.

@Holysoldier000 Counterattacks are an ability learned from Mew, and that's not until the third chapter. Also, his dojo's only purpose is to give out that and one other duplicated ability near the end of the game, neither of which are necessary to beat the game and neither of which are indicated without actually going to the dojo and talking to him. Considering this only happens twice all game, it's really easy to not know the abilities exist and beat the game without them.
