The military has a long tradition of honoring their fallen with funeral ceremony. Locally, the Tennessee Army National Guard Military Funeral Honors team performs 25-40 services per week with a dozen men and the help of volunteer groups. Although this unit receives no recognition for its devotion to the nation's servicemen and women, it maintains that the focus should remain on the veterans.

  • What a great video, enjoyed it so much. My husband use to do military funerals. On one occasion, as he leaned over to present the flag to the widow, a little voice pipped up, "Grandpa, I want my Grandpa"....he said he almost lost it right there.
