nice vid:) cant beat the vintage tube stuff. people often forget that there was never a such thing as "low" quality no matter what in those days. although what youve got is far from low end

Hi there,
Inspired by your work on this little amp I have just modified my champ 600. I have used the same 8" Alnico sig from Ted Webber and I have mounted it on a new board with an 8" hole. I have then used Fender Oxblood grill mesh. It sounds great and looks good too!

that sounds great - we don't get much blues harp over here in the UK, shame really as I love to hear it.

Thank you! However, there must be a lot of players also in UK. I think that I often perform Blues harp Player in the bar also in Japan though it is so. How about Mr. Jon Vaughan.

do you find the sound brakes up as good with the 8 inch as good as it does with the 6 inch speaker? Is it a bigger sound with the 8 inch.

The "breake up" of eight-inch speaker was my favorite. It is felt that there are somewhat a lot of volumes, too. I think that the "break up" of six-inch speaker is more distorted. "How good" is depends on your taste.

I also tested "Weber Ceramic Signature 8" with this amp. When comparing it with "Sig 8 alnico", it sounded more creamy at low volume. But it was distorted too much for me at high volume. I am not man in the sphere in English. Though it is good when my expression is transmitted well...

I didn't modify cabinet. The hole for the speaker is 6 inches as it is. When the hole is expanded for eight inches, it is likely to become a bigger sound.
