@Rumor100 Exactly, the apostle 'Paul' aka Saul of Tarsus (a shady character if ever there was one) writing years after the crucifiction. Funny that Christ didn't mention this himself! Anyone with half a brain knows that, if there was an historic Jesus of Nazereth, he was a Jew and subscribed to the Jewish religion. He seems to have seen his mission as purifying Israel, i.e. driving out the Romans, which is why the Romans, not the Jews, crucified him.
