Vet vs NYPD: Marine turns tables on cop gang mentality

Occupy Wall Street protesters are planning another global rally later this week, ahead of the G20 summit, to demand world leaders impose a 'Robin Hood' tax on financial transactions. It's in New York that peaceful protests have seen most arrests, as well as allegations of police heavy-handedness.

A video featuring Sgt. Shamar Thomas has gone viral on YT. In the video, he confronts members of the NYPD about how the cops have been treating protesters. He tells the police that if they want to fight, they should go to Iraq and Afghanistan. RT's Marina Portnaya met the OWS living legend.

@EricCris10sen This is called "agree to disagree agreeably." Over the years I have seen officials in every capacity imaginable, swear to defend the Constitution. Then when a test of that oath arises, the oath is ignored. Traffic checkpoint stops are against the Constitution. Dui checks were made an exception which made some people happy;...some not. Now they have broadened the functions of the DUI check. LEO(s) ignore the law to catch and punish citizens ignoring the law. Is that justified??
