Prey Anti-Theft for Android

Prey is an Android app that enables you to track your phone if it is lost or stolen. It generates notifications and reports to help you locate your phone and find out who is using it.

Once you have entered your preferred log-in details, you can open the app on your Android phone.

From the main menu you can choose various settings for Prey. By selecting SMS activation, you can activate Prey from another phone by sending an SMS message containing a chosen phrase. You can also tell Prey to notify you when the SIM card in the phone is changed without your permission.

The interface is designed to be simple, with the monochrome design and layout for easy navigation. To start or stop Prey, or revoke administrative privilege on your device, access the Settings.

If you mark the phone as missing, Prey generates reports which provide data allowing you to monitor and track your phone from their site. You can view this in the account management menu. If you select "view generated reports", you can see your phone's location on a map.
