Sure, but my standards are higher.Movies at 24 FPS stutter for my eyes, while bunch of my friends think it's 'smooth' enough.Plasma corrects the stutter but now i watch movies that i encode first to 50/60 FPS with special script and even on Gaming LCD that doesn't support 24 Hz and therefore only 50/60 Hz it plays like a butter.

Same with gaming.I can't stand 25FPS! That's why my goal is always to achieve 60FPS-that's my LCD's refresh rate. And that's smooth enough for me :D

  • @Sssagaman a movie runs at 25 fraps so who cares if its above 25 its fine he saved money and can play the game without a nice card at a good frame rate

  • @HenryTomasino1 I have no idea why I said that X_X, I facepalmed my own face when I read what I wrote....

maybe I was tired.... or VERY STUPID at that time...

4 months is enough to learn something... though im SURE I ALWAYS KNEW THAT!

  • @HenryTomasino1

Hehe, i did realize later that there is still no game out that 9800 GT couldn't run nor handle :D :)

  • @Sssagaman Lol Unlike what alonalon777 said... All DX11 games are backwards compatible to DX10. So feel free to bench your 9800GTs on BF3, cause I wanna see lol. In case you don't remember I have a 9800GT. Which is also why I know bout DX11-DX10

  • @alonalon777 =| ~face palm~ All DX11 games are backwards compatable to DX10... Not 10.1...

  • @alonalon777

Too bad. The first game bro won't be able to play, but he only plays LOL on his 9800GT X4 965 BE combo :D

I have 470 GTX for my pleasure :)

  • @Sssagaman but you cant run bf3 :), and dx11 only games will come in the future, the 9800 is old, and gets no support at games at all, bf3 = dx.10.1 and higher

    your is only dx 10

  • @alonalon777

then 240 is very weak as my 9800 GT rapes this card: where 6570 gddr3 gets 29 fps, my 9800 GT does at 48. Now, that's a difference.

On the other hand the Gddr5 is on same level as 9800 GT

  • performs the same as a gt 240, only it has dx11, dissapointing, i guess ill have to get more money :)
