I think people are associating Mesrine with Rocknrolla because of the use of the Black Strobes song in this trailer here and the Rocknrolla soundtrack. I personally love both, but they are two very different movies, obviously the Guy Ritchie one is, well, a Guy Ritchie movie. Mesrine is a modern gangster classic.
