@Icywolf44 I bought a Super Cub LP 48" wingspan as my first plane 2 years ago and I still love it. Parts are easy to get as well. A new set of wings $20, new tail feathers $10, new cowling $4, new landing gear $4etc. It will withstand abuse very well, and come back for more. 5 min Epoxy and clear packing tape can repair it for learning time and then replace the parts after you have learned and don't crash as much - or as hard !!!

Hi. I have the e-flite beaver like this one with 4" Du Bro big wheels. Wondering about how far down the flaps should extend for full down, ie how many inches does the flap's trailing edge deflect down at full extension, on your plane. Yours flaps seem to work really well !! I also just bought a used 8 ft span Unionville Beaver from one of the club members. I put 5" DuBro big wheels on that one.

@Icywolf44 Definitely go with the Parkzone Super Cub. It can take a lot of beatings and still keep going. I added like a pound and a half of hot glue to mine and it flies like a boss.

hi, im new to RC flying and im wondering whether i should get a e-flite beaver, e-flite apprentice or a park zone super cub. I want a good beginer plane to start out with and those are my choices.

What powerplant/prop are you using on this? Looks killer!

@Icywolf44
If you have someone who is gonna teach you to fly then the Apprentice is the way to go. If your on your own the Park Zone Super Cub would be best.

They are Dubro 6" inflatables tires.

Mabe.....but I like to fly in extreme off feild places and the largest tires help when there are rutts and alot of rocks.
