This Air On The G String was composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Only listening and trying to understand the emotions that are hidden in this magnificent beauty is an adult man's life. The death of Gustav Leonhardt has made me temporarily a sad man. This exceptional human being gave a 50 second speech on the quality of many young Dutch musicians who can play all over the world we live in now. When brilliant Gustav Leonhardt gave the speech he looked as a man who knows what he is. He is GREAT !
