@shelbie008 you know now that you mention it if you listen carefully the clicks sound and out of place. i stand corrected

@BramoX The clicks are not there at all. The clicks are clearly being performed either with an instrument or some other means. The lead singer is NOT pronouncing the clicks and is therefore not singing the song in it's native language. If you speak French without pronouncing the words properly, you are not speaking French. It is no different with Xhosa. Without the distinct pronunciations, she is signing gibberish. It's hard for English speakers, of course. But learn it or don't sing it at all.

Worse rendition ever!
Without the distinct sounds, one is not actually speaking the language the song was created in. It's one the thing to like a song or a language. But not taking the time to learn the language is disrespectful. The song is a traditional wedding song, older than Miriam Makeba herself. So, you dishonour not only Miriam's memory, but also her people by not learning the language before attempting the song.

good try ladies...but still no clicks...so thats a no from me

this song is awsome!!

Sorry but they're like robots. There's no soul, no feeling. Everything is so perfectly timed and coordinated it sounds sterile. For contrast, watch Miriam Makeba sing Kahwleza. It's amazing.

Nice try!

the clicks are there, but not as distinctive you have to listen really hard.

Good try ladies, but where are the clicks that are unique to this song...?
That was what Mama Makeba was so good at...!
Good try though...!
