You know what I'm thinking? I wonder if the vocal mic is set up wrong for your instrumentation and the kind of music you are playing. It should sound more natural and "flat" instead of enhancing the voice to the point where the instruments are not clearly heard. Does that make sense?

Yup, and I think you are absolutely right there, but try explaining that to modern-day sound engineers. That's the reason why we usually prefer playing without amplification.

Love the accordion solo, he's improvising? I slowed down on accordion because I find it really hard to improvise... Les Primitifs do that one too, I'll bet you knew that. cheers. n.

Yep, improvising. I've never heard him do the same thing twice. Usually it works out fine...

He's a really good piano player by trade. I'm a fan of his.
