Use a CO2 mag, or insulated/ heated green gas mags.

the design and mechanics of the WE gbb system will operate in 10-20deg F so long as the gas in the mag is at [normal] operating temperatures.

Explaining the details would cover a little bit of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and fundamental physics concepts.

go to gasguns(dot)info and do a little research. It'll help you understand why your gun "freezes" in cold weather, what parts are interrelated and how to remedy.

@joeyphoshowey No. Don't use a co2 mag, unless you have the open bolt version, my pdw broke on less than 30 rounds shot on co2 (AWSS version)

@hayden2356 Sorry for bothering again, but can you tell me what exactly it is that makes it capable of changing fps to 1000? Is it the bolt carrier Ra-Tech makes or can the standard WE and GHK PDW rifles do this?
