NeighborBob:

Bush also refered to the aluminum tubes as proof of Iraq's nuclear ambitions. Guess what? That evidence was outright dismissed by the International Atomic Energy Agency who actually tried to enrich uranium captured tubes. The tubes could not handle the high spin speeds and therefore the IAEA concluded that the were for conventional warfare. Bush knew IAEA's finding but he used it in his speech anyway.

NeighborBob:

That's fine Bob but the problem is that Bush did not state that his dad made a mistake and now I am going to finish the war because "Someone must lose."

Bush with the help of Judy Miller (jailed), Ahmed Chalabi (crook), Dick Cheney (No Comment), Scooter Libby (jailed) and the rest of the American Enterprise Institute fabricated a weak premise for war. Even Colin Powel later said that it was a mistake.

Bush chose Saddam over Bin laden - that's just moronic.

@glentubin A moron? How so? Because he didn't know who the previous Prime Minister of Canada was or what the capital of the Czech Republic was? the interview everyone bases that claim off of was a horrible thing.
Yes, because Saddam was a problem before 9/11. Saddam has been on the verge of war with the US for almost a decade. You cannot end a war in a white peace and expect it to last. Look at WWI and WWII. Look at Korea. It doesn't work. Someone must LOSE.

@boomblockbaby OMG, How dare he have a stuttering problem, which is a completely real health issue that has nothing to do with intelligence. Bush has a top of the line education. He is by no means an idiot.

@ed711b Bush has no stakes in the oil industry. He is rich enough to retire in luxury. And yes, the Middle East does have a lot of oil. Guess what the best answer to rising oil prices is? GET MORE OIL!!! Iraq did not have the infrastructure to drill it. Now they will. And uhh... Afghanistan does not have oil. Back to the drawing board for you. Good bye.

@spencerjben Actually, Iraq was one of the more desirable countries. Saddam was not an extremist. He was a westernized person. The problem was he continuously stepped over his boundaries. It was no big deal to expand our military effort and knock him down too.

If you want to be heard, sound intelligent. I will rewrite your comment for you.
1 million murdered civilians in Iraq. The troops turned a cake walk into a lost war by acting irresponsibly.
Worst troops ever sent to war.
