Jumping rope is one of the best forms of cardio exercises you can do. You can burn up to 300 calories in less than 30 minutes. There are many other advantages you can get other than just burning fat.
You can increase balance, total body coordination, speed, and agility. Some of the top athletes from around the world use this simple piece of equipment to help achieve ripped and lean muscles. Jumping rope works your entire body from head to toe. The harder and faster you jump the more your muscles and cardiovascular system will work. All you have to do when you have very little time to fit into your busy day is jump rope intensely for 10- 15 minutes.
Jump ropes are also very inexpensive and portable. You can bring your rope with you no matter where you go. You can jump rope in the park, on the side walk, in your home, at the gym, or even at the bus stop. Its doesn't matter where you choose to jump as long as you do it.
Please take caution if you suffer any hip, back, or knee problems. While jumping rope is good, it will not be the best choice if you have anyone of those ailments.
Difficulty Levels
learning something you have never done before will require time and patience. All you have to do is keep on practicing until you perfect it. Keep in mind, every time you mess up on the jump it will take more calories to start over. So do not get too frustrated when you make the attempt.
Not getting frustrated is easier said than done but you can do it. If you do not have the patience to jump rope you can do the alternative which is just as good without tripping. The alternative is called the EZ-rope. This rope has no middle, it is just two handles with a piece of rope hanging from each side, you can do everything you would normally do with a traditional rope without messing up.
