  • My children were also schoolmates with Daniel. When my daughter was in 6th grade, she stayed after school for peer tutoring in math. Daniel was in 10th grade, and he was her tutor many times. One afternoon, I was late to pick up my daughter, so Daniel and his friend, Solomen, waited with her so she wouldn't be alone. He was truly a special young man, and I am truly sorry for his parents' and sister's loss.
