Wait for it...Woodpecker

GoPro camera catches a unique view of a pileated woodpecker on my suet feeder near Dryden, NY. I can see how dinosaurs would have been scary.

This is so great! I love Pileated Woodpeckers! (Even though one recently ripped through our chimney!) What a great idea to catch one in action. Did you see how it looked at the camera when it first landed? Too bad you didn't get a little bit of its laugh it usually does when it flies off. Did you see how the birds below it were eating? the Pileated woodpeckers often attract other birds because food is uprooted when they're around!
