Calangute beach Goa

this nice beach is a bit north of the cozy town of Calangute in Goa, India. In July it's monsoon, and i was told that it was illegal to swim in that area at the time coz big waves. I can't recommend people to go to this area during the monsoon if they are looking for a lot of sunshine, but still it's a very nice place, and quiet in the monsoon for those who prefer that.

I went there at the time coz the plane tickets were extremely cheap... The temperature was fine, but it rained a lot, and HOW it rained at the time was unbelievable!!

I thought Goa was only open from nov to march....how did u find accommodtion?

Im going Goa in July. Is it all doom and gloom? surely there is some sunshine? does this at all dampen the fun of goa?

No way is it illegal to swim in Monsson season!? Never new that. Why did you go in the Monsoon season, what was the temperature like??
