Ed Herlihy Radio Show WNBC New York 1947

Ed Herlihy the splendid voice of Universal Newsreels hosted the WNBC radio programme "Honeymoon in New York"....David and Sigrid Fleay had just delivered 3 platypuses from their home country Australia to the New York Bronx Zoo.......audio has been restored from 3 very worn NBC transcription discs...included are kodachrome slides and move film from the late 1940's.

My parents appeard on this radio show in 1947. on their Honeymoon. The host was Dirwood Kirby. My Mom was given a book "Killer in the Kitchen" which was autographed by Dirwood Kirby and the radio staff at NBC.
