I thought that Calif. was last in education spending. Last month the voters defeated some propositions that were quick fixes for the state's $30 BILLION deficit. The state is going to run out of cash in a month and massive education cuts are happening now. The LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District) cancelled all summer school classes. I read the article in TIME magazine about how screwed up Florida is. Looks like you guys can't do anything about education cuts.

I am very impressed. It means so much for you students to be passionate. And the idea that you are learning to 'work the system', 'make a difference', 'make your voice heard' is fantastic.

I'll talk to the teacher about that. She already has us uploaded on Safari Montage, but I'll recommend TeacherTube as soon as I see her tomorrow.
