Coming from someone who had to beat the electric pot apart with a hammer as I drove my electric gocart in an out of control reverse circle, that prop seems a little dangerous.

@desinfector If you had a steeper hill you could get to terminal vilosity.

Must... find.... toolbox. Must... build... one...
hmmmmmm 36S with a....... :D
I think this is the thing that will kill me...

That was impressive a lot of power. But for how long with that motor run on a full charge?
-
wow that is completely awesome , ill buy it
-
lol thats awesome. If i remember right there was an airplane manufacturer that made some cars that were powered by a propeller. They expected all cars would eventually be powered by propellers.

For 70 kg human need 38 Kg thrust.

"... speed with one motor was 167 mph..." Theoretically or in real life you ride in what speed?
What pitch of propeller and diameter in this video and what motor max rpm at 0 km/h bike speed?
-
I weigh 160# dressed
speed with one motor was 167 mph
speed with 2 motors was 175 mph
air resistance is a large barrier
speed is limited by propeller pitch as it exists.
unlike combustion engines, electric motors turn a given rpm per volt.
there is no rpm gain with speed.

In more cases - no.
would a 25cc or 31cc whipper snipper motor do that?
and amazing work thats freaking awesome!!!

I've forwarded your comment on to Harvey for the answer. When I get it from him, I'll post it here.

this makes a lot of noise and would probably terrorize any fish in the area
It would probably keep the mosquitos away

Definitely chop the bugs up.

You say it's producing about 50-pounds of thrust. I wonder if it would be enough to push a small boat around. I want to get rid of my trolling motor so I can get through shallow water.

Boy,, I don't see why not. I seriously doubt a trolling motor would put out 50 lbs of thrust. Course, I don't have a trolling motor so this is just a wild guess.
