I've gotten the Sword of Kings on every playthrough except my first. In fact, on my current file, I've had amazing luck with 1/128 items. I went to try for the Gaia Beam and got it on my first try, and it also didn't take me long to get the Magic Fry Pan. But to make up for it, the Goddess Ribbon doesn't want to be so generous, even after I waited some time to get three Star Pendants. Gutsy Bat might as well be impossible.

No, I would never get bored of EarthBound. If I started another playthrough, I would still enjoy it. I just got fed up with looking for the Goddess Ribbon and have been playing mostly Mega Man games lately.
